Freshwater Pearls 10-11mm
Sterling Silver French Medal
1 Strand of Cut and Hand Rolled Leather
The Medal of the Immaculate Conception — popularly known as the Miraculous Medal — was designed by the Blessed Virgin herself and given to Saint Catherine Labouré in Paris. The Church distributed the first Medals in 1832 and almost immediately the blessings that Mary had promised began to shower down on those who wore her medal. Devotion spread quickly and before long people were calling it the “Miraculous” Medal.
There is no superstition, nothing of magic, connected with the Miraculous Medal. It is not a “good-luck charm”. Rather, it is a great testimony to faith and the power of trusting prayer. Its greatest miracles are those of patience, forgiveness, repentance, and faith.
...we have paired our beautiful round hand drilled pearls and our hand rolled leather cord with this treasured French inspirational medal, made as it was commissioned in 1832 with the words on the medal in the original French... Price: $118.00
